Convertible Top Delete
(I think) I'm interested in removing the convertible top and all associated hardware from my convertible. It's a garaged, fair weather driver, I hate the car with the top up and I'm interested in losing a little weight.
I'm sure folks have done this before. Anyone have pictures?
Thank you,
-Jason

i've not seen any delete peices.. though i have removed a top and driven with no top.. it looks like **** without the top.. you would most definally want a replacement delete... good luck.

You misunderstand. I'm not looking for a "delete kit"...I'm looking to delete my top and all associated hardware. Curious if anyone has done this and what it looks like.
No need to be ugly. I'm fully aware of the make/model of my vehicle. Recently my top was replaced and I just don't use it. I don't like it and I don't want it.

I'd say at least leave the leather cover on that goes over the convertible top when the top is down. That will sort of hide everything and might give you an idea of what it'll look like even though there isn't anything underneath. If you don't do that, you'll have a large opening (in my opinion) that will look sort of goofy with nothing to cover it. Also the spare tyre might poke out
speaking of deleting the top, you could deelte the top then make it a 4 seater! that would take up most of the space!
I stumbled across this parts car a while back, suprizingly most of the bolt holes for the rear seats are there, looks like they share floor pans, then the vert has several braces and the spare tire thing added on. This guy cut the **** out of the car, but they fit in!

when you think you've seen it all you havnt!
