Converrtible Targa Top

I recently came across an 88 convertible with a TARGA top. I've never seen one and didn't even know they made them and I have come across a lot of different rx-7's. Does anyone know how many they made? Is it a good model? This seems like a very real model and id like to get some opinions.

mine has it, go figure... I think that's 100% of the verts so far in this thread...

as stated, all verts have the targa top, but not a lot of people run it in 'targa mode' kind of a hassle IMO, so I just go top-down.

Bud, chill out

seriously thought, what do you expect when you ask a question, receive the answer and then try to argue that the people who have given you your answer are wrong and state that you "have been around rx7's for blah blah blah" and then state that a normal vert is some limited edition special model.
you got your answer, run with it.
chill out, enthusiast are often know it all dicks

Not only that but it isn't a very good Targa top! Shakes a lot and really doesn't add to the top down experience

I liked mine when I had my Convertible, Its much less noisy then a regular rag top...Hard rain is much less noisy too. I think it was well designed

What the hell are u talking about. The rx-7 targa for the vert is by far one of the best designs. My targa seals are still in awesome condition and I have 240,000 on the vert.

No its not a special or rare deal...all second gen rx-7 verts have a removalable section.

dude, nobody said you were stupid... were we having fun at your expense? SURE!! get over it... get a sense of humor -- nobody was flaming you, but you come back w/ an attitude like that and you're sure to make some friends.

funniest part was your post ended w/ "peace".. your post wasn't the best way to make 'peace'.

I see another post like what you originally posted MVP1442 and you will be banned.

This section does not tolerate such flaming. You should rethinking your participation here if you intend to post comments like that.
