Water Seeping Out H2O Pump

Today I got my 2nd attempt at rebuilding put in the car. The first thing that came to mind was to fill it up with water to see if I f-ed up the coolant orings. Well now water came out the oil pan, so I assume I did a better job on that. But the water started pouring out of the lower seep hole in the water pump, why the hell is it doing that?

I hope you meant to say that *no* water came out of the oil pan. Otherwise I would say that you might not be up to the task on rebuilding. Anyway is the waterpump new? Usually water coming out of the hole means the seal went out on the pump, which in turn means get a new pump.

Yeah, this time NO water came out of the oil pan. Well I replaced both of the seals on the water pump, was I supposed to use something along with new seals such as Silicone Sealant?

If water is comming out the weep hole, it's usually a bad shaft seal.
Rebuilt water pumps not expensive.
