Considering intake purchase

I will be finished putting in the aluminum radiator after I get a new coolant level sensor and I need a new mini-project to continue gradually improving my car.
Does anyone have any recommendations on an intake kit for an stock NA S4?
Include info about how easy it was to install, and how well it works.
Thanks for your help,

K&N Drop in for the stock air box.

Otherwise, build a CAI, wait sorry for those who care, AAI (Ambiant Air Intake) box with fresh air ducted to it, or a AAI intake that pipes the filter outside.

My setup works great. The filter I chose is a little restrictive because its designed to filter better then the high flow filters but I like it. I have the filter piped to the front bumper with 3.5" ID piping.

Well, I figure I should just get a cone filter or something. After putting in my aftermarket radiator, the black squiggly plastic tube piece that directed air from the hood-crack to the stock airbox won't fit anymore. So if I run it as is now, it'll just be sucking air from inside the engine compartment that's been through the radiator.

After reading through a couple of other threads on the issue, it seems there isn't really a consensus on what's best..
I was looking at one of those green hemispherical filters that just attaches directly to the MAF thingy that's on the airbox now.

I don't know that I have the resources to construct a box for the filter.
I've seen some people with pretty neat setups like they've hollowed out one of their turn signal compartments and had outside air blasting straight onto their filter.

I guess it'll just take doing more research on the issue and getting good suggestions from people who have been through this before.

You can get it from the mazda dealership or you can try rockauto.com or mazdatrix. They go around $27 with the new rubber washer.

I went to a local place called 'ernie's' which I think is a napa affilliate, and he looked in the napa coolant level sensor book, and in the book it was listed as a 82-86 sensor. They wanted 18$.

When I called the local mazda dealer, he wanted the production date of my car cause he said the coolant sensor changed from month to month.
I don't think it matters either way since I'm putting it in a S4 aluminum koyo radiator.
Regardless, they wanted twice as much (36$) and it would have taken longer to order.
Maybe it's worth giving a local napa a try and seeing if a knowledgable counter dude can hook you up.

My original idea was to get a HKS super mega flow filter adapted and paired with the corksport aluminum intake pipe, but after reading some of the other intake threads regarding aluminum and it's heat-transferring properties, I might just stick with the old weird rubber pipe.

I don't really like the look of the HKS filter, but it seems like the way it aspirates would be better than a standard cone filter.
In a normal cone filter, there's that plastic/rubber plate in the front where the air would hit and the air gets drawn in from the sides.
with the HKS, it looks like you could put it in front of a air source from the bumper and the air would get forced directly into it.

I don't really know much about the mechanics of this, and I won't go through the relevant engineering classes for a year or so, so I have to ask around, lol
