Cone filter on a S5

Well i bought a 3" cone filter to put on my S5 because i remember reading somewhere that you do not need an adapter on the S5 but it seems to me the MAF is way too small Am i supposed to be using a different filter or is there an adapter for this?

And you didn't though about mesuring anything before buying? Any silicone coupler or something of the like will do I guess but I'd recommend keeping the stock intake system.

Ended up needing a 2.5-3" adapter and a piece of 3" tubing to make the rest of the intake

You're also going to need to build a box or sealed off corner of the engine bay or it's nothing but a hot air intake that'll cost you hp.

No adapter.

Buy an intake with a 2.5" inlet.

Silicone couplers and hose clamps work just as well as an adapter, which you arent going to find...

+1

I have a(n) HKS filter in mine and I can tell you, it's not of much use.
