Compression tested today...

109psi up front 11 in rear, 64k on mazda remanned S4 NA. Looks good


Anyone else got anything with higher mileage with really good compression.

my engine is in pieces so I guess I have 0 compression on both rotors

It died of a blown rear apex seal, so probably almost no compression in the rear at 110K.

My last engine died with 100psi, however I had rust in the tank and the fuel kept cutting out so i think that had alot to do with it.

Before I tore it down, I got 102front, 100rear..... 156k miles. Was pullin hard when I tore it down...

not even sure what mine has cause i couldnt seem to get a correct reading....

but i do know i have either a blown or stuck side seal...

so what is the psi supose to be at on an s4 n/a 9.4/1 ratio

from what i have read 85psi

any ideas
