So i did some searching today to see if anyone had the same cold start problem i had. I havent found anyone, because this just seems so rediculous. I put the car in storage while i was in basic training and ait(followed all procedures to properly store a car, same with taking it back out). it had to have starter fluid to cold start it, but it ran, well ran like crap for about a week, put some injector cleaner in it, worked for a while and i had no problems for about 2 weeks. now its back to needing starter fluid every time i start it cold. its rediculous. can anyone please help?
What were the procedures you used and for how long was it in storage? Just asking to see what could of gone wrong here.
My first guess would be crud in the fuel causing a shortage of fuel or something similar since it starts with starting fluid.

i followed the procedures provided on aaroncakes site. it was in storage for 6 and a half months. fuel has been flushed, and atleast 3 full tanks have run thru since its been out. about the video, i can try to get one tonight or tomorrow. but it just cranks and cranks but no start, then starter fluid and it fires right up. im bamboozled
Does the car have a fuel cut switch? If there is no fuel pressure then check for the presence of voltage w/key to start on the Blue wire in the Circuit Opening relay found under the dash and to the right of the steering column as it is yellow in color. The Blue wire is what powers up the fuel pump.
