Exclamation cold start assist sender bolt size! Please Help!

I just got my rebuild done and back together. Started the whole break in procedure, when I noticed that I still have a red plug in my oil pan. I freaked out. Strangley its holding well enough that oil isn't coming out. I figured out that its the cold start assist sender. I can't find the original sensor. I need a bolt size and pitch will fit in there so I can plug it up. I need to know quick. Otherwise I'll end up plugging it with some aluminium epoxy. Thanks guys.

Have you thought of just making a block off plate and just seal it up?

My bad. But, I found out that the union that screws into the front cover left side for the oil line, has the same threads.

So I measured those threads and came up with 16mm size and used a thread gauge and find the threads are 1.5. So buy a bolt 16mm with 1.5 threads and use that to plug the hole. See attached jpg.

YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE RX7 OWNER!

HA me and you think alike, only you have the tools to figure things out better. I took the same oil cooler adapter and shoved it in there. Only I plugged it up the other end with a rubber nipple. Now that I know the thead and pitch, I can but a more attractive bolt to put there. Thanks a million! = ) = )
