cold idle issues 88

cold idle issues 88

88 vert w/ TII swap doesnt like to idle when it is cold. I must manually idle car until its over 150 degrees any ideas?

Did you remove the BAC, thermowax, or both? What speed does the engine idle at when cold? It should be about 1.5k RPM with the thermowax in place.

sounds just like my car, the BAC plug was busted when I got it, and the BAC tested bad on top of that.

BAC is located on the pass side of the UIM. Its a cylinder w/ a colored plastic circle on one end w/ a plug/connector.

Thermowax is in the throttle body...run a search for it, you'll need pictures.
