I searched for "how to prelude CAI" and came up with this thread. It has links to pictures:

Between the filter and the TB, just like before...

Judging by the empty threaded holes and lack of attachment neck, it looks like you're missing an important part of the filter. Take it back to where you got it and ask for the rest of it.

anyone?

heres the adapter that your talking about...but it's not needed anymore since im doing a CAI mod instead of a intake. Even with it on, the piping doesnt go in!

sounds like you might need a different filter or fabrication

The coupler in post #4 will make the air seal, but the filter will still need a bracket to keep it from falling off.
Just fabricate a bracket that bolts to one of the adapter flange holes & mounts to the car.

from what i have read...yes you do! because you are sucking in hot air if you just leave it sitting in the engine bay. It's been dyno proven that you will lose power if you don't have a cold air box/ cai mod

also...did I buy the wrong PIPE!? I bought the 92 96 93 94 95 Honda Prelude Short Ram Air Intake Kit but the problem is the 3" couplers are a little to big for the piping!!! heres what i bought PIPING
