search the forum for different intake modifications....no company makes a "true" intake but you can mess around with a few things.

you might get yelled at

Haha, sad but true.

Anyway, the best way to go about the intake is buy an intake for another car off eBay, and play around the piping a bit to make it work. I think most used a Prelude kit. Use the search button and search for "Prelude intake" or something like that and you should find what you need to know.

You can get a MAF adapter at pepboys that will give you a 4" inlet on your stock MAF and that will allow you to install an aftermarket filter. Don't spend big bucks on a kit when you can piece it yourself and save a bundle.

HI - installed an intake from http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/fcintake.html last week (street model). Wasn't comfortable with doing myself. Have been pleased with it so far. Scott.

no offense, but i wouldn't waste my money on the "bonez"? intake....its just a filter and a little bracket that utilizes the stock mounting holes for the MAF...just an observation but the whole thing looks kinda cheap to me...

Edit: i mean seriously, they charge $10 extra for the air pump filter....

i went to autosone and baught a cold air kit for a 93 civic sohc ( d15 ) with some minor cutting and fitting you can run it from your throttle body down to the maf ( i used the pipe with only one bend for this. then i took the pipe with 2 bends and fit it to the other side of the maf again a lil more cutting on the pipe and you need to cut a hole in the body right behind the head light and the pipe goes in just enough for the filter on the other side. the filter will still be inside the all of the plastic from the wheel well ( if you have it ) and behind where the fog lights go on the tII. it is far enough back that you will get no water on the filter. i have had no problems at all and felt a noticalbe difference.

Yeah, because using a higher flwoing CAI makes no performance difference, especially if you've already opened your exhaust....While it is a small gain, it is a gain.

But you should take advantage of the lack of emissions testing here in MN and open your exhaust up.
