coil pack question

Question coil pack question

there are two wires that supply the coilpack with power one goes to the ecu where does the other one go?

Uhhh.. Are we talking leading or trailing? The leading has a power and signal wire, the trailing has a power, signal, and toggle wire.

On the LEAD coil the two socket plug has a black/yellow wire. It is 12vdc constant. The other wire is G/Y and is a high/low from the ECU to trigger the coil (LEAD COIL)

The stock ECU does not supply power to the coils / coilpacks.

Black/yellow wire leads back to the main EFI relay as recall. This is the 12V supply for the coils.

All this is shown in the wiring diagrams. These can be found in the Factory Service Manual (see FAQ) or the Haynes manual. Either one (preferably both) of these manuals are a necessity if you wish to do anything involving the car's wiring.
