Clutch Problems

Ok heres the deal. When Im driving my car and I come to a stop the clutch sometimes get stuck in gear and I have to put it in netraul and take my foot off the clutch pedal. It seems to not what me to put it in gear and its really annoying.

I put a new OEM clutch in last thurs and its been doing this really bad since. What could be the problem??

Any help would be appreciated.

You could re-word that and add a little detail?

Off the top of my head, I'd suggest bleeding your clutch. I'm a not exactly clear on what the prob is, but if the clutch *pedal* isn't behaving properly then maybe there's a little air in the sys...

Not trying to **** you off here; just aiming for some funny and honestly wanting to help.

Sorry for the weird wording but its hard to describe. Bleeding the clutch doesnt help Ive done that a few times and I did install the clutch myself.

What im trying to say is that sometimes when i put my foot on the clutch pedal its like Im not putting my foot on the pedal, like the pedal deosnt work. It makes it hard to put it in gear sometimes. Could it be the slave cylinder?

I would just go ahead and replace the slave cyl as its not that pricey and the rebuild kit is even cheaper.
not too hard to install either.

Do you still feel resistance from the pedal, or does it just fall flat to the floor?

Are you positive you installed it correctly? Could be improperly torqued down, and the clutch can't release when the flywheel is spinning too fast. You may want to check on that.

Should he consider the clutch release bearing and/or pilot bearing?

No it usually is the slave cylinder being that is the main part that seperated the clutch and pressure plate so i would go with that the rebuild kit is 3 bucks at a part store but it goes back out in a year
