i have an 88 rx7 non-turbo and today it is not starting for me. i went to start it and it kind of sputtered around 1000 rpm and then stalled. and when i went to start it again it wouldn't catch and i started to smell a lot of gas. it just kind of turns and turns and turns but doesn't catch and there is a strong smell of gas. is the engine flooded out or something? i think this same thing happened before and the guy told me something about there was a lot of gas in with the oil and they had to drain it. does that sound like the problem? and if so, do i need to take it to the dealer or can just anyone take care of it?

no dealers ,put in new spark plugs and see if it starts.if you do not know how now is the time to learn, and buy some tools if you have none . good skill , not luck to you
