Clutch Issues.

I replaced my Clutch master cylinder and my Slave cylinder about 4 months ago. Things were running fine. Until yesterday. My clutch pedal is getting stuck again. I tried to bleed the system again, but nothing. I can see the slave cylinder pushing the clutch fork in but it slowly bleeds out. I don't any signs of leaking. First thing I checked was the reservoir and it was full. If theres no signs of leaking is it safe to assume that theres a bad seal inside the clutch master? I couldn't imagine the slave leaking with out showing signs of an external leak. I have been wrenching as a profession for a few years now, just boggles me that a new Master cylinder would go bad so soon.

If the slave is bleeding back it means the seal in the master is bleeding back to the reservoir.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. You could try rebuilding the master if the bore looks good.

I have found that any clutch hydraulics that are not mazda OEM, go bad 12months or less. And usually 6months or less.

At least they all have for me.

I think the master cylinder bores are aluminum so they don't rebuild well.
