Clutch Issues

Ok so first off I just want to say that this thread is to confirm what I think is wrong.
Ok, I think that I need to replace either my clutch's master cylinder or slave cylinder or both. The symptoms are the need to pump the clutch pedal several times in order to get enough pressure to disengage the clutch so that I can shift. Also while i am driving sometimes the clutch will just totally lose pressure without actually depressing on it at all. I have spent almost the entire evening bleeding the lines to figure out what is going on but it hasnt seemed to help at all. No visible leaking fluids at all. So from what I have learned from searching on the forums is that these are symptoms of either a broken master or slave cylinder. I dont have any issues with replacing them or rebuilding them i just want to know if I am right because I dont really want to spend any unecessary money. Thanks.

PS could someone direct me towards a site where i can locate good rebuild kits for these cylinders?

Yea it sounds like your master cylinder too me.I would go ahead and rebuild the slave cylinder too while your at it.might want to check the rubber hose for cracks or signs of wear.

Go to your nearest auto parts store- aftermarket rebuild kits for both cylinders will cost you about $25 total.

I got into the habit of rebuilding them both once a year, and have never had clutch problems since then...
