This clutch - Do you recognize it?

This pressure plate came with the clutch behind it on another engine.

Does thie look familiar to anyone?

There was an ink stamp on the clutch plate that looked like "PLC" or "JLC" or something close. I can't find any info on it, and now it's installed with about 200 miles on it.

This was the clutch that came off:

The pedal is a LOT lighter on the new clutch. It grabs smoother, but stronger. The new plate has 6 springs in place of those rubber bushings. It's got the same continuous friction surface as the old (not a puck-style).

...and somehow I just stumbled on the answer. It's a Valeo PHC clutch. Figures, as soon as I ask for help, I figure it out myself.

So now...opinions? lol

I remember now that the clutch plate had Valeo stamped into it. Though there's nothing on the pressure plate.

The pressure plate doesn't look like those in Valeo's catalog, it looks more like a Comp Clutch Performance. Any ideas?

Polaroid? No, Nikon Coolpix.

How that addresses my question I don't know. Can't tell if it's sarcasm or a compliment to my photo-taking ability.

New clutch installed (Valeo disc, unknown pressure plate):

Old clutch that came off (Daikin disc):

Sorry about the pics not showing in the first post. I forgot my permissions didn't allow unregistered users to view attachments (hosted on my own forum, www.BuellRidersOnline.com).

That is an older design pressure plate. Looks fine though. Use it!
