Clutch is acting very funny.. suggestions please!

Alright ive had my 88 vert for about 2 weeks now and its got 96k original miles on it and i have no idea if the clutch has ever been replaced. The clutch has felt awesome up until the last 2 days. what i did is tried that method on here to test your clutch where you put the ebrake on put it in 3rd and then ease the clutch out to see if it slips, which it did not. However i then parked it after trying this and got into it the following morning and drove off and it slips going in 2nd 3rd and 4th slightly and then grabs.(this happens at easy throttle too) Now the odd part of this is that if i drive it about a mile it quits slipping and grabs 100% flawlessy for the rest of the day. Its happened twice so far both of which happened after letting it sit overnight. I have a slight oil leak so could it be possible that oil is getting in there causing this or is my clutch about to let go or is it something i did testing the clutch or what? It makes no odd noises at all and once ive driven the car some it feels like new and does everything flawlessly. Any suggestions are much appreciated because this is very confusing to me.

You smell anything funky when the clutch is slipping?

Does it slip any on a harder than normal launch when she's warm?

It doesnt smell odd at all and when the car is warm it drives like a brand new car, no slipping or anything. The tranny doesnt grind or anything either. Im very boggled.

Well, for now run with it, but if she gets progressively worse, you probably have a clutch change in your forseeable future
