Clunk Clunk from rear

hey guys, there is a weird clunking noise thhats comminf from the back of my car, it increases in intesity and speed as i got faster, im guessing its my UV joint, anyone have any other suggestions before i go and start replaceing things? 1 more thing, my rear right brake has stuck for some reason, and stays partially engaged and heats up alot, my ebrake seems to engage alot higher than usual as well, any suggestions please say what you think- thanks -alex

I thought that the diff mount usually only clunked when you shifted?
Also, you might want to try adjusting your ebrake, and see if that helps solve the ebrake problem. Theres a screw under the plastic stuff on the ebrake. it tightens and loosens the cable.
Have you done anything with your brakes recently? Im not good with brake systems, but I might try bleeding them before I try anything else?

well since the ebrake is cable actuated i dont think that its that, Is it possible that my calipers are binding from wear and tear? may possible need them rebuilt? ive noticed that my fronts click when i slowly get on and let off the brakes at a standstill. The clunking feels alot like a wheel is out of balance but it sounds more mechanical, my rear end seems to clunk only when putting it into 1st gear, but i doubt that this is causing my car to shake/vibrate since i bought the vehicle this way. The duration between each clunk gets shorter and shorter as the car goes faster.

Differential mount. Mine went completely out and if you hit the gas it sounds like a jackhammer is going in the back of your car.

does it shake/vibrate more as the speed increases.

Mine does them same thing as your. With the eception that i spind the car wile braking and it slided sideways onto a asphalt curb. THat bent a link in the back and even after replacing it, it still vibrates. Something else is bent to.

In mine it isn't the suspension mount because I installed a new one with the Turbo lsd diff. Ill get it alined one of these days.

im having the same problem on my car... i have a lot of vibration/clunking coming for underneath the car, and it goes faster and for frequent as i speed up
it could be either one of 3 things im thinking... 1. the UV joint on the driveshaft is gone, 2. the diff mount (not sure of where that is or how to fix that), or 3. something to do with the brakes, maybe one isnt disengaging or something?

any ideas? thanks

When my front diff mount went out, I knew it. It has a hard knock underneath the car that you could feel, and certainly hear, whenever I got on the gas or let go. It did that everytime.

If you only get a noise now and then, it could just be bushings etc.
