I've had the clutch on my vert replaced since the seller i bought it from totally fucked it up, the shops rate where i had it replaced at is $75 and the clutch was an OEM and went for about $100 and they said it will take about 4 hrs to get it in there, and i ended up paying about $500.

Not really. Most shops charge $500-$600 to do it, and the dealer is right around $800. I buy the kit and do it myself for cheap.

I just had mine replaced a few weeks ago. . . It cost like $225-240 for labor at a goodyear shop.
Make sure they replace the pilot bering correctly! (my mechanic messed up and had to do the whole job over!) ;-(
