Clogged Cat? How do I tell?
My '87 TII has symptoms of clogged cat - as well as other possible causes.
mainly, no power with excessive throttle, doggs down at 4000 rpm, overheats.
I understand from searching that there are a bunch things that can cause these problems.
How do you confirm or eliminate the cat(s) as the problem?

if the cats are clogged, at night time drive, if you peer under and see them red hot, they are clogged. also, place your hand near the exahust, feel the back pressure. you should be able to tell . our cars have a strong back pressure, if your aint to strong, well get those bad boys removed
