Question Clock vs: Logicon

Ok here goes.:
I just did the fix on my clock, it works now, but my new problems are: 1) My power antenna doesnīt come up.
2) Warning lights donīt come on when switching to ACC.
3) Logicon wont work and its frigging cold over here(FREEZING)
4) Whenever I turn my lights on, buzzer tells me that some door or hatch isnīt closed, which is followed by the problem
with arming my aftermarket alarm. It also
tells me that a door isnīt closed.

ANY help will do, If you read this please reply if you know. Its my daily driver/beater/racer, soon to be eliminated beater.---KIM

You need to realise that it's very difficult to troubleshoot bizarre electrical problems over the Internet. And no matter how many times you bump the topic (what's with that anyway??) if no one knows, you won't get a reply...

That said:

1. Does the motor in the antenna spin? Can you hear it? Did this problem start after you "fixed" the clock?

2.Warning lights are not supposed to come on when the key is in ACC position.

3. Have you resoldered your Logicon? When you move the sliders, can you hear the mix motors moving? Does the heater blower motor come on?

4. Someone screwed up the alarm installation. Have them fix it.

Ive been checking every connection with a meter and only like 30mins ago i found that when i soldered th clock i accidently shorted the curcuit-board, it wasnt enough power in that short to blow a fuse.
But it works now. Thanks anyway-Kim

Lets do the easy one first and work our/your way up. The problem is*The idiot lights do not light up when the key is turned to ON*. Thats related to a relay in the CPU and also related to the two wires on the back of the alternator.

First, look at the attached JPG; See the alternator. See the WB wire from the alternator and how it goes to a relay in the CPU? All its doing in life is putting a gnd on the relay and applying 12v to the idiot light in turn. No ground from the alternator equals no idiot lights when the key is to ON.

So first make sure the small connector is connnected on teh back of the alternator. If thats connected, go to the CPU and insert a wire up the back of the X-09 plug at the WB wire. Touch the other end of this wire to a ground. With the key to ON, the idiot lights should come on. If they don't, write back. That indicates a idiot light/ wiring problem.
