cleaning outside of TB

any ideas?? the fact that it has about 100 shapes ant' helping LOL...

I wana bead blast it but I think that would damage all the stuff on the outside.



I've been scrupping away at it with coke and tinfoil ***** (was told to do that...) it's shiny and smoth but still stained or something.. like it's in deep.

and a bunch of linkage stuff that I took off

Try an aluminum prep maybe? Alumi-brite and Alumiprep are some of the cleaner brands I know they sell around here.

What I found to work Immaculate was a Wire Brush (Wheel Black & Decker)sold at Home Depot. You hook It up to your drill. The wire bristles are fairly lengthy, allowing you to reach tight fitting crevices around the TB.

Infact, I did my whole Intake which left a brilliant shine scrapping and polishing off all the dried gunk and carbon. Anyone who has seen my complete Intake will agree It's freakenly outrageously clean!

Be prepared for alot of airborne carbon! I made that mistake doing It In my house. The whole area surrounding was covered with dust that didn't appear visible. That Is until I swipped It with my hand. What a mess.
