Check out what i got from japan!

Woohoo! Took about a month to get here. They actually came from mazda japan. I dont think ever sold a set here (other than me).

These are the actual factory wires for the car. The replacements you get now are NGK's. These are factory Yazaki's. Pretty dope huh? Ok, ok ok, so your saying, what idiot would pay money to have factory wires shipped from Japan? Well, the factory wires are great. They last MUCH longer than any aftermarket wires. And most aftermarket wires for a rotary are crappy and dont fit snug. So i wanted a set of orginal, factory wires. =] Whats crazier than that? Buying a spare set. I got an extra set just in case!

Yea right. If that were true then I would not have had to pay $6 for ONE freakin LUG NUT! Even though an extra shipping charge doesn't appear on your bill, it's still in there.

true true. They still charge me shipping, but just not as much as it would cost to actually ship the wires themselves from japan (thank god).

Er... has anyone besides me checked resistance on the stock wires? I was shocked. I think it's something like 2600 ohms for the leading ones, and about 1500 for the trailing. For comparison, the Accel 8.8's that I was going to use (before I had to sell all my cars and leave the country... under cover of darkness...) had about 180 ohms or something like that, for a wire over four feet long. Crazy.

My plan was to use the generic V8 wire set I had, with the stock end pieces, so everything would fit right.
