i think whoever told you that the one on the left had nothing done to it is FOS.... the interior looks like its been smoothed out and polished.... i'd need a closer picture of the port to believe that one...

Yeah, the order of port size goes like that (13B-RE, 13B-REW, 13BT). And the Cosmo ports are quite sizable. But there is also a bit of an optical illusion going on when you look at the port opening (were it meets the manifold). Both the 13B-RE and 13B-REW have their port runners at an angle entering the housing, were the 13BT is nearly perpendicular (right angle). So this makes the port on the REW and RE look bigger then it actually is (again, they both actually are bigger {especially width}, just not as big as they look {height}). I attached a pic to help visualization. If you actually took a cross section of the REW or RE port that was perpendicular (right angle) to the runner walls, it would be smaller and now you’d be comparing apples to apples when looking at the 13bt port. The quick sketch is not actual measurements.
Pic to big to attach sorry, but you get the idea I hope.

The secondary might be the largest of all the 13B series, but the primaries are some of the smallest in the 13B series.
There is really nothing specially stronger about it - the later 13B-REW engines are supposed to be better.
All Cosmo turbo compression ratios are 9.0:1, and the rotors are basically identical to the Kouki FC turbo 13BT ones.
