iT'S A Bonez......I bought it for my 95 accord 2dr but sold that car and had it laying around..now the 7 needs a new one and what do you know...here's a cat!

Neither of my Bonez cats looked anything like that, nor were they stainless. Where did you get that from. It looks like the one side has a 3-bolt flange?

My friends dad in cali owns a wholesale car part buisness, go it from him like a year and a half ago, came in a bonez box w/ warrantee card, he get's all kinds of different things i have never seen before, He gets a lot of imported parts too.. I dunno where he got it from. But i picked it up for $70 shipped, he only had two of them...

Yea, mine didn't look anything like that either. How big is it (could you measure it? please?)...I wonder how it would hold up to the heat...and if it actually does well I wonder if you could use 2 for a dual system (I've been searching for a cat that could do that for a long time now).

it is 16inches long- and has 2 1/2 inlet and outlet it goes to 3inches inside... you can see right through it...it has honeycomb crap all around the outerrim but it is really striaght through...I wonder if it's even a cat.....WTF are performance cats see through?

Looks more like a presilencer to me..

I have never seen a cat that is completely see through. My Bonez cats were both fully honeycombed. I did have a Bonez pre-silencer though, and it looked like this internally..

ok..well i spent $70 on something i didn't need.... It looks similar to that....I wonder if it'll fool the techs at emmisions?

It might fool the techs, but its not going to fool the sniffer machine...

Ok i just called my buddies dad...it is a cat, it's just not street legal... he said it is used on roadrace cars in touring classes or something like that...he says it'll hold up to the heat..i hope so..i wonderif any shops will install it considering itisn't street legal?

i have cats...thanks anyhoo. i have already passed the test and know how to do it without cats, (hollowed out) Just need to pass visual next year. and need to trick a shop into welding this up for me...

I doubt they will know it isn't street legal unless it says it on the cat itself. If it does just put a tag on it to cover it up

Good idea....they really just pass a mirror underneath the car to see..... A buddy of mine passed with a piece of glasspack in place of his cat on his 3000gt...pretty funny.
