check out my project for yesterday :)

underbelly tray: sorry the pics are kinda dark

big greddy fmic

we still havent extended the sides of the pan up to keep the rest of the air going into the radiator, we'll get around to that soon. but at idle, i can stick my hand on the front of the FMIC and feel air being sucked in from the radiator fan, so its better than it was before

I would say the stock plastic piece is much more aerodynamic..... Why not use it?

indeed. you would experience more downforce with a rippled pan. try using a ball hammer and just get some nice dents in it.

jacob you can lower your highway temps by cutting a slit in the front where the molding goes to let that air hit the top part of your rad as well. Like this sorry pic is bad because I had the wrong setting on the camera and I had to down size it so it kinda fuzzed up.

If your temps are still a probem the first thing you need to do is box the sides in. You'll still spill a bunch of air around the coolers with that setup. You need to give the air no choice but to got through the coolers.

yeah we're gonna get out the riveter this weekend for finish it up.

you can actually feel the air being sucked through the front of the FMIC when its sitting at idle with the fan on. but yeah the air is definitely still spilling out, especially when i'm at interstate speeds.
