Damn! 4K? I'm 18 and I'm paying about 2k a year since it's my first year. It's liability only though.

I don't hate cops, they are just doing their job.

What I do hate is laws that surroud their job and our driving, and a system that uses that for revenue generation.

Man that sucks. I am 19 and I pay 2100 a year. Thats for liability on my 7 and full coverage on my 95 camaro with 100 comp & 250 collision deductibles. I also have everything like Uninsured motorist, think rental too. What company are you with? Please don't say Progressive.

Damn guys. For that kind of money it's not even worth driving the car. Buy a 1982 oldsmobile delta 88 for about 1,000-1,500 for one in good shape and you'll only be paying about 150.00-250.00 a year for liabilty. Then take that 3850.00 a year and save up for really sweet mods. Honestly though..why pay more in insurence then the f'in car is worth.

Ya that is alot. Do you have any tickets or any accidents at all? Well if you think of it he is the highest risk that I know of. First off he is 18, a male, & drives in NYC. Then he is driving a 2 door sports car. How much worse could it get to insurance companies? You have to think about how much Insurance companies usually pay out for anything more than a fender bender, more than that $4000. Then if he has 2 accidents they are really shitted on.

You don't have to have it inspected, not here at least. I think only if the car is so new, like 96 or something. My insurance co. has never seen my 7. They didn't even see my 95 camaro which has full coverage.

Hehe,
You guys are seriously getting raped. I am 17 and I only pay 700 for my 89 N/A. And I have looked at next year when I think I need to get off from my parents plan and even than I only will pay one hundred more. So if you wana truely race (AKA no drag, hill races both up hill and down) come to MAINE, where the men are men and most of the women are too. However, insurance is cheap and you can blow 100 past cops since all they do is SLEEP.

Hey I bet you in Wyoming they almost pay to insure you since there are more cows than people. Prolly like $25 a month for a 18 year old.
