Check engine light keeps coming on...

My check engine light keeps coming on....only notice it when im in 4th or 5th....only happens when i have my foot on the throttle for 10-20 seconds....usually falls around the 3k rpm area.....

when i take my foot off the throttle, the check engine light disappears...but comes back again right a little after i put my foot back on the throttle...car also runs a little different now....a bit more jerky when im in 4th and i let off the gas and then ease back on it.....

any ideas?

ground the single wire green connector near the leading coil pack and turn the ignition on, the check engine light will start flashing codes so record them and then begin diagnosis.

same thing happened to me and to my friend. He says its the 5th and 6th ports are clogged. At 1st it was happenin to me as u described and now I took off my stock intake and put a breather on my air pump and the check engine light is always on. Sounds to me u have the same problem. I don't kno where it is but look on the site about cleaning ur ports. That should fix the problem. Do u feel any hesitation/sluggish on some days and other days ur car feels a "wee" bit faster? As the others recommended, checking the codes would be ur best bet.

bitter?

we both told you to pull codes, did you do it? nope, you just continued on like nothing was said. just because the CEL isn't on doesn't mean there isn't any codes stored.
