Changed spark plugs - weird noise under boost?
Hey.
So I changed my spark plugs yesterday, NGK BUR9EQs all around.
Today I got on the boost for a little bit. When I started hitting peak boost, I heard a funky noise. I don't know exactly how to describe it, except for kind of a weird clinking sound.
When I was changing the plugs, I did tighten them rather snug. I don't know if they're too deep or what - I suppose I'll go loosen them up a bit.
Any suggestions on what I should look for?
Thanks!

weird.. i get this very same problem when under WOT, and full boost in my S5 13bt... almost feels like its the trans, because i swear i can feel it in the shifter. Even though my trans, was fully rebuilt not even 10k ago, as well as new ACT clutch, master, and slave. My thought was that it is either the clutch, the dust shield over the tail-shaft of the trans, or my engine is pinging, although i think it would have bit the dust if it were ping.
anyone out there know whats going on ?

Yeah. My first thought was 'oh ****, detonation', but I couldn't believe it.
The only thing I could think of is that I got a bad tank of gas. I normally keep off the boost, so I might not have noticed until I was purposfully boosting today. This might be working in combination with the fact that my plugs were pretty much roasted when I pulled them yesterday, and they might have been sending too weak of a spark before to be a problem (they were really bad).
That's the only thing I can think of. I haven't changed/run anything different in terms of settings than I usually run, so that's why it didn't make sense to me. But now I'm beginning to see it as a large, frightening possibility.

i think you put your wires back on wrong, mostlikely on the trailing side, Or the wires are old, and maybe when you put them back on they are arcing to another wire
