Champange Gold 90 GXL S5

Well not alot of my FC friends believe there was a Champange gold colored FC 89-91 so I had to get this one =)
Its gor maroon interior (not my taste) but a very rare S5 color the only option this is missing is ABS brakes ,thank god.
Enjoy for those who never seen this color,,Also they made TURBO II's in this color scheme also..Still waiting to find one of those a champange gold TURBO II in S5.

That is called winning silver, a rare color for s5's but not unheard of.

I have NEVER seen or heard tell of a stock s5 t2 in a color other than red, white, black, or brave blue.

Kevin,

Is "brave blue" the same as "harbor blue" (the color of mine)

I'm trying to find the paint code for my color, so i can fill in a few scratches here and there.

Brave blue is that awesome, rare midnight blue that almost looks black until you get right up on it.

Harbor blue metallic is the lighter blue metallic color which is also pretty rare, but not as rare as brave blue.

Jacobcartmills used-to-be-NA is brave blue, for reference.

Same as mine

I thought it was called 'champagne'. Mine is maroon inside. Seats are cloth, not leather. When Kevin Landers saw the maroon interior he said "not sure I could live with that every day".

Hey, you all should love me now! Instead of starting a new thread, I used the "SEARCH" button!!!

Anyway, I am looking into possibly repainting my car ('90 GXL, Winning Silver) and I now think that I may go for the stock color. I also considered Harbor blue, but I am wondering how much it costs to do either paint job yourself (I have all the equipment and know-how, just need a price on paint). Also, I am at a loss, should I go and keep the stock color because it is that rare, or go with something else. I know the whole "it's your car, do what you want" thing, but if it is that rare of a color, I want something unique, so therefore this color fits the bill.

Just wondering!

I love Brave Blue, I drive by one every day on my way to school. Some days I feel like asking the old guy to trade for my red 7.

brave blue is awesome, my car was repainted it was originally Pure Red but when the previous owner repainted it he had them add just a bit more red to it so the car is kinda just Ferrari red now . . . if i had to have a blue car it'd either be Brave Blue or Intense Blue (on the 1999 up dodge vehicles offer it know i think its a PPG color similar to Viper Blue)

I just aquired a '90 Champange GXL with that horrid red cloth interior. Although mine has more of a chameleon effect ... changes color as you walk around it ... white hood, black fender, etc ...
I got parts to change interior to gray ... what color do I go with on the exterior?
I have a Harbor Blue, can't say that I remember seeing a Brave Blue, not as dark as you are saying. I was leaning toward some type of Charcoal ... thoughts

Hey, guys, the question isn't about how nice white s5's look, but rather how rare the color winning silver is, and how much it costs for the paint to repaint the car.
