CF Hood

Is ebay the only place im going to find a Cf Oem replacement hood for the tII?

Just a tip on the ebay hoods. To get a real %100 carbon fiber hood would cost twice as much in materials to make than a fiberglass hood with one layer of carbon fiber on top which is what is normally done. So if it's under $1,000 it's not %100 carbon fiber. Also unless they graft the factory metal support mesh to the bottom of the hood it's nearly impossible to get it to use the factory hinges and latch.

sortof true...but not quite...... importfans hood has the latched built in..(very strong also).. i had one of thier hoods, and it worked great...true, it wasnt ALL cf! the support structure underneath was fiberglass, but the entire hood itself (minus the supports) were carbon fiber! and that hood is only $500..
