Personally When I wire up my Car sterio's I don't worry with the Always on option. If it's wired wrong it can kill your battery way to easily. I just wire up the ignition wire so you can just put your vehicle on accessory if you want to listen to music without turning the car on.

I'm not 100 percent sure about this but in most cases the ignition wire is red. Also, when you took your old stereo out it should have had a plug you had to undo, your new stereo should hopefully fit this plug, so if your luckey enough just pluger in and away ya go.

PS. You didn't really give me enough info to answere your question so I just through a bunch of stuff at you that i thought would help. PM with ALL the details and i'll be able to tell you what goes where.

It should be a Blue/Red wire for the Hot at all times and a Blue/White wire for accessory.

Thats how mine was, I just installed my CD player today.

ok here we go. you might want to grab a test light. ok hook one side of the test light up to a ground. then take the screw driver looking thing( the tester) and touch it to one of the wires with the ignition in the off postion. now if the lights on, on the tester that mean u want to hook up the "acc" wire to that. now then take the other wire and it should read no light. turn on the ignition and if the light goes on. then hook the power wire up to that.. now look you have ur radio hooked up. and ready... have fun

Is your antenna factory? Is this stereo replacing a stock unit?

If yes to those questions you will have to wire a relay to get your antenna to go up. Do a search for it. There is good info.

ah man then search function must be busted again, because I know personally I have posted the wires for wiring a FC stereo including aftermarket and stock antenna wire up at least 20 times.

all wrong...

get an aftermarket plug if there is one and Mazda doesn't use one solid red wire even near the stereo.

Red is only used as switched 12Volts in aftermarket stereos and ground on Fords.
