I bought a used Bonez cat and installed it a couple of days ago. It's a single cat with no pre-silencer, apparently sold for an automatic car, but I was told it would fit a standard just fine, too - the only differences being no pre-silencer.

Anyway, it fits just fine, but it's heat shield is right up against the car's heat shield. It's not really pushing hard against it, but it's right up there nonetheless. Should I worry about this at all? Perhaps the factory cat was like this too and I just didn't notice.

 

at least yours is up there, my exhaust hangs down a little bit and its annoying as hell
