CAS position in relation to crank pulley

I searched but couldn't find all of my answers.

First when stabbing the CAS you align the dot on the bottom of the CAS with the mark on the bottom of the CAS, correct?

When stabbing the CAS what position does the crank pulley need to be in?

Do I set the crank pulley timing mark on the yellow or red or what when I stab the CAS?

With the dot on the CAS gear lined up with the notch on the CAS body, insert into the motor with the engine pulley on the first timming mark if you rotate the engine towards you ( clockwise if your looking at the front of the motor. I think its the yellow one, but I cant remember, whichever comes around first is the one you want.

Thanks I'll try it.
That should get the timing pretty close right?

It's for the leading mark, which is the one on the "right" on the pulley staring at the pulley from the front of the car.
