CARFAX is wrong...

Carfax says my car is a turbo II when it's really not. I even have the original dealership paper for my car that says its an 87 base model. I checked the VIN like 3 times and it is the right one. It's kinda funny, ahs this happened to anyone else? Oh yeah, I havent looked at the car VIN yet, just the one on the dealership papers.

Just because it was wrecked doesn't mean it will show up.

My friend put his camaro around a light pole and took the front from another camaro off and welded it on.
The title is still perfect on it too.

Doe your VIN look like this?
JM1FC33*2*...
CarFAX will see the "2" and automatically think it's a turbo, since all US VIN's are coded for that.
Was this a Canadian vehicle?  The Canadian FC's do not strictly adhere to this standard.

Nope, no 2 there. The car is strictly US, bought in Kentucky. VIN is JM1FC3314H0518325. It's really weird. It's neat though.
