Maybe you should contact one of their vendors for clarification, but as far as I know that pump is intended for short-term operation, similar to the Holley Volumax pumps. Hopefully I am mistaken.

You need one to equalize the bowl pressure during off-throttle operation (ie shifting). Otherwise, the engine will go rich, creating a hesitation and throttle response problem. This wouldn't be required with speed-density EFI.

Let me know on that compressor bypass valve cuz My float bowls are not staying full. At high boost(15-20lbs) aroung 6,000rpm the carb leans out. The only reason my car is carbed is cuz the hot start problem. I like the authenticity of my blow through. Everyone sees my car an says(What the hell? A 650 carb on a 80 cubic inch rotary?) I love it.

Think you missed my earlier post on carbs... where I said they are fine for drag cars.
The 12 second TII my friend has is a daily driver not a drag car. My car will be a daily driver also, I'll let you know results when I'm done...

A compressor bypass valve would have nothing to do with this. The carb is probably leaning out at boost because of a lack of fuel pressure. Either your rising rate fuel pressure regulator isn't set correctly to keep enough pressure to the carb and the boost is causing a fuel backflow, or the fuel pump isn't supplying enough fuel to keep up with the engine at higher boost levels. Therefore, the question of the day is...

I have a Holley blue fuel pump and a Mallory FPR. I am an idiot though because I kept going up jet sizes because my car was leaning out! DDDDUUUUUUHHHH! I finally came to my senses and remembered that the jets don't fill the bowls, the fuel pumps do. I am a retard. I figured this out after I posted that reply. And guess what? My car is so fast its starting to scare the **** out of me! No more lean outs. I need to buy race plugs though because my high boost is blowing my pugs out. I'm taking it to the track on the 14th and I'll let you guys know what ET's I run. 11's?
