Car takes a while to start.

After the car has been sittin for a while. LIke over night...12 hours. It takes a long time for it to start up...maybe like 10 seconds. I'm pretty sure it's not flodded because when it does start, there is no excessive amounts of smoke, but it wants to die, it usually dies once then i turn it back on and all is well again. Its like nothin ever happened. Any ideas? thanks

Are your 6 ports wired open. I know when I have my ports wired open it is hard to start. That is to say you have a N/A. What kinda mods do you have?

have the same problem with my car now ever since i did the 5-speed swap, i didn't run it for about 3 weeks (doing the swap) and when it came time to start it, it was flooded like a bitch, ever since then it takes about 8 sec to start (use to just tap the starter and it would crank up) and now i also don't have the 3k start up anymore can't figure out that one either

yeah.... hmm sounds like we all have our hands full. Today i'm going to change the fuel filter. And take alook at the BAC valve. I've heard you can take it out. Clean it up with brake cleaner, or Gas.....and then use some stuff on the gasket to make it new again. So you dont have to get another....Or you can just make a ghetto gasket out of file folder material :P

Change your fuel filter and get your injectors cleaned. It *should* solve the flooding.
