timing advanced???

I've been seeing all over ebay motors (what I do after mid night when I can't sleep) these like timing advanced kits. i looked up some stuff on them and apparently they're a 4.5 ohm resister the make the ecu read something that adds airflow or something... could someone humor me about what they're all about... I have a 87 TII and I'm really just curious?

don't think these make any real power. It may trick sa sensor into turning up the timing, but that would be the only trick.

Don't waste your money.

Get a good RB header and good SS exhaust and enjoy..
