car still running......

so i replaced my blown engine with the same one that was in an accident from another car and it started right up and has good compression. but today when i went to work on it more, i was running it and it runs real rich and engine moves all over the bay. also after i turned off the key, the engine still was running. and i know with a piston engine it means it's out of timing. is it the same with a rotary??

i had this same problem a little bit ago.
my front rotors primary injector positive wire was grounding out. thus super excessive fuel useage in that one rotor. is it terribly hard to start? fuel smoke?

replaced the harness. its only the engine side so you dont have to pull the dash, but the manifolds must come off

id use a multimeter and test for resistance first, this is where true duals come in handy. you can see which rotor the craps happening to.
