car still running......
so i replaced my blown engine with the same one that was in an accident from another car and it started right up and has good compression. but today when i went to work on it more, i was running it and it runs real rich and engine moves all over the bay. also after i turned off the key, the engine still was running. and i know with a piston engine it means it's out of timing. is it the same with a rotary??

i had this same problem a little bit ago.
my front rotors primary injector positive wire was grounding out. thus super excessive fuel useage in that one rotor. is it terribly hard to start? fuel smoke? |
yeah, how did you fix it??
|
replaced the harness. its only the engine side so you dont have to pull the dash, but the manifolds must come off
|
id use a multimeter and test for resistance first, this is where true duals come in handy. you can see which rotor the craps happening to.
|
is it possible that i may have just forgotten to plug in the ground wire after the swap?? if so where is the grounding wire??
