Ok so my car finally starts, it stopped blowing fuses, and now it starts and just dies right away. There arent any HUGE vacuum leaks, i dont think i have any wiring issues but im going to backprobe the harness tomorrow.

But the car has an FD power FC with the banzai adapter, T04-3b turbo, 1600cc secondaries and 720cc primaries on stock rails, but the power FC only knows the injector sizes. Is it possible it needs to be tuned in order to idle?
I'm open to other ideas like a grounding issue or whatever,

Also my tach doesnt work..at all, where are the wires for that? on the transmission?

 

did you install everything your self or did you have it done? also did someone program the pfc for you? The car wont run unless the pfc is properly programed.

 

the guys are rx7store were fairly adamant on the fact it would run without any programming, it took me about a half hour of asking for them to at least input the injector sizes. So no it really isnt programmed at all

 

the power fc comes with pre programmed base maps on it....do you have a s4 or s5?
usually if your tach doesnt work that means your trailing isn't firing.

 

The Rx7 store is wrong.

It will not run on the PFC base map when you are using the GM 3 bar sensor. We supplied you with a base map that would have had this set up already.

Tach signal comes from the trailing coil, did you modify the coils per our instructions?

 

I had 720/1680 with an FD power FC. It's going to require a lot of tuning. A lot. Either buy a datalogit and spend a crapload of time figuring out how the PFC works or just tow it to a professional after you are sure you have all your wiring issues taken care of.

 

yeah i modified the coils and i am running a gm3 bar map sensor. I don't know how i could have recieved any kind of base map for this, and i don't have a datalogit

 

OK well it looks like i'm taking it up there thursday to get tuned
