Car runs better with FD TPS off the throttle body? Why?

I have done a FD upper on my FC TII engine, and I had a Bad,I mean Real Bad TPS,.it scratched when you turned it,
So I put another one on,.The car would Buck and hesitate Like crazy..
But when connected a TPS and just let it Dangle off to the side,The engine was OK.It would rev OK,..So I took it for a Drive, and it runs GOOD.
The AFR's are within reason..between 11 and 14.5..and it will idle at 800rpm.
..any ideas?..
Thanks in advance.STYX.

So the ECU thinks the throttle is always closed?

is the TPS wired properly?

remember that the S4 TPS is at 100% voltage with only 30% actual throttle, some adjustment is necessary to get the FD tps working properly.

The FD has a narrow range signal (same as s4 TPS) and a full range signal:

I am positive I have it wired up Correctly..Viking War Hammer I think had the wiring on the Thread I started up ( FD UPPER ON AN FC thread.Sec gen specific)
The Real question I need to know is: What are the Consequences of Driving the car like this?
.Apparently, according to the wideband, the engine seems to be getting adequate fuel.
I can drive the car,Boost is good, about 6psi on my BNR stge 3(720x4 injectors). It doesn't do anything funny.wwith Baffles me.
with the TPS on the throttle body, the car was ok if you didn't accelerate Quick, and then it would just BUCK and Fart, like it was geting fuel cut..
.QUESTION.how is teh FD TPS suppposed to be Positioned on the Throttle Body itself?>
with the connector towrads the Front of the TB or with the Connector towards the back of the Throttle body...It can be put on Either way,I found that out.I have it with connector towards the front of the TB.

I KNOW what I'd do if this car is a series four car. You say it's wired right, so I'd go to the ECU pin 2G and with a fully HOT engine and key to ON, I'd look at the voltage on pin 2G. At idle it should be one volt dc. IF not, then adjust the TPS screw til it does. Then slowly step on the pedal while looking at the meter and make sure there are no opens in the readings and that the high reading on the pin 2G is approx 4.5 to 5vdc with full throttle. In this case, it being a narrow range TPS, the 4.5 to 5vdc should be there when the throttle is depressed just enough to start moving the secondary throttle plates.

I wouldn't check the voltage at the TPS, but at the ECU pin 2G.
