Car dies when I don't give it gas HELP PLEASE!
OK, so my car has been plagued with problems as of late and just 2 days ago a new one has arisen. When I have my clutch pedal pushed in or when the car is in neutral, if I don't give the car gas, my car just completely dies. When I start it up, it revs up just like any car when you start it, and just falls right back down to 0 rpm. I'm really confused... Please help me, I'm desperate. It even does this when I'm driving and push the clutch in to shift, my rpm's fall and if I don't give it gas, it just dies. This is very hard to do when I have to come to a stop light/sign. I have to push the clutch in and break with half of my right foot and rev my car with the othre half of my right foot. I'm desperate, please someone help.

Anything you've done to her recently?
Check the obvious things first (especially if you've "played" with any of them):
TPS, AFM, idle screw(s), vac leaks, etc...
Done a tune-up recently? Plugs, timing, that kind of thing?

Question about the idle screw. Before I fucked with my car and removed the UIM for two months, the idle used to be perfect. Now idles very high and I have problems. I tried messing with the TPS using a multimeter, the lowest I can set the TPS is to is 1.3ish OHM. Other than that, before I messed with the idle screw, the idle screw never touched part of that metal piece. Messed with the screw a little, but still cant get the car to idle normally again.
Anyway my question is, how is the screw supposed to be? Not touching metal, touching down half way? Iam lost. Somebody know? Thanks
