anyone else have any insight to this?

 

Well i blew a small vac line off my car the other night and I tried getting in boost and it would hesitate while getting into boost and it would kind of idle a little funny by either dropping down lower than usual (like its about to die) or it would go up higher. I found the line and put it back on and it would run just fine.

 

Yes my throttle plates did the same thing, the outboard ones were not opening. I then wired them open until I had time to do the TB mod and man it made a hell of a differance. Just wire those outboard plates open and you should see a huge gain.

 

Sounds like my problem, but the nipple that the vac line is on broke off, so I gotta figure out how to re attach it.

 

How do I do this and how long should it take?

 

JB weld the nipple? Got any pics of the area where the nipple broke off? Vac leaks will almost always effect your power from my previous problems with not properly tightening things down and blowing vac leaks and such.

 

Oh and by the way, I'm running kind of the same setup as you.

 

I dont have a picture at the moment as I left my camera at school, hopefully once a local FC friend of mine gets off work at 9pm, I can head over to his house and snag a picture of it.

Oh, and how are our set-ups similar?

 

S-AFC, bnr stage 4, 4x720cc injectors,walbro 255, FCD i think those are the same but i've also got the apexi dual n1's with no cats from a 2.5 in dp to mid pipe, bonez intake with a 2.5" TID with 3mm apex seals on a streetport.
