any suggestions i dont wana beat anything like a screw driver inbetween them any more than i already have cause all that did whas deform the aluminum

 

Do you have all 5 bolds off? Also check the part that bolts onto the rats nest. That also holds it down.

 

If all 5 fasteners are off then try a rubber mallet to break the bond between the 2 pieces...

 

You may have overlooked the middle bolt... it's in the center, behind the fuel rail, below the leading edge of the throttle body- you need an extension to get it.

If you're 100% sure (which I bet you missed it)
Then it should come. Sometimes a little bit of force is nessecary, if it's never been off before, but definately not more than you can apply with your hands.
