Cant search for S4 and S5, differences?
I wanted to know what the differences are between S4 and S5 engine. Ill assume there is a performance increase, but why? What physical differences are there?

S4: 146 bhp to S5:160 bhp.
Comes from a redesigned upper intake manifold, lighter weight rotors, and a redesigned ECU.
That's not a lot, but there's a shitload of minor differences that make block swaps difficult. Putting an S5 motor in an S4 car is plug and play, AS LONG as you have all the parts you need from the S5.

You have basically two options.
1. Keep all of the S5 wiring and change out all of the engine trim to S5 (basically just have the S4 block).
2. Go with the S4 engine trim and change out the engine wiring harness, ECU and dash harness.

EDIT: I'm sure there are more details, but that is the main issues.
