First RX7-Subs behind seats don't work?

First RX7-Subs behind seats don't work?
Well,
Just got my first RX7 today. 1990 Red Convertible with 103K mi for $3900. Very happy to be out of my 1990 Toyota Camry with 223K miles
I have a question though
My car has a aftermarket Head unit and a six disk CD changer. The speakers in the headrest work and the doors but the subs behind the seats don't put out any noise at all. I think they might no be hooked up but I'm not sure. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Yeah, Indian Shores is in Pinellas County between St. Pete and Clearwater. Back to the sub question, you think it is a wiring problem at the HU and not the sub itself? Has Anyone but aftermarket subs that are amplified in those spots?

check on the outside of each side of the speakers (towards the doors) under the carpet there should be a plug for each one on each side. i think the wires r green, if that s all good both the wires go to somewhere under the dash on the passenger side (look on the right side of the glove box) then the wires go to the back of the head unit. if all this checks out and they still don't work, rewire them , and if that dosen't work get new speakers . 
even though u can't realy hear them anyway and then throw some 10's in the compartment where the spare tire goes
