Can't Hold the Boost to Redline

Well, I dynoed my car at Revolution, and I was expecting to break 300rwhp or at least get close to it. However, I only put down 270rwhp due to boost problem. I'm running about 12psi but at 5500rpm, the boost drops down to 10psi or less, making my power curve flat from 6000rpm all the way to 7000+rpm. I do not hear any boost leaks when I was looking for it on dyno, so what could it be? Could there be something wrong with my BOV? I really have no idea about where to starting looking... Please help!
Thanks in advance.

Most probably just the stock turbo not being able to keep up.. Do you have a stock port motor or not?

Has the turbo been rebuilt/hi-flowed recently? if so disregard the above comment...

If you are running a stock turbo, 270rwhp is quite good. To elaborate on what White FC said, your boost is falling off because the turbo cannot flow enough air to provide 12psi above 5500. This is normal with a stock turbo on a modified car.

It's normal unless you're running an EBC.
