when i was driving after i installed my intake (cone filter) i try to get it to the redline

sometimes it gives me the annoying beep, telling me to shift, but right after it beeps for less than a second it cuts fuel, i used to be able to get into the redline instead of touching it, but not anymore

other times it cuts fuel at like 6600-6700 rpms

should i not worry about this??? I cant really use

I doubt it is cutting fuel unless you hurt your grounds or something when you put on your intake.

Have you checked/considered your cat being clogged? - it sounds like you may not have a cat so nvm.... um, check ignition wires and stuff too.

What reason would it have for cuttng fuel?

 

If this is on a turbo motor, could be getting a boost spike causing the fuel cut. If its N/A probely a bad ground at the ecu tps might have a dead spot.

 

Like all things, the answers one seeks are usually in the questions one asks. Just use the process of elimination to deduce what the problem is via knowledge gained.
